(I own a PS4 now and eventually getting a PC) It’s a breath of fresh air after having nothing but Nintendo consoles for so long. Anyways, this gives me a chance to finally play OTHER GAMES than Nintendo’s now. I don’t care about Smash or Mario Kart anymore because I played the death out of those already before I sold it and I grew bored of them. I see no reason to get another one yet probably until Starfox and Zelda release. I’m pretty much just a Nintendo fan “on hold”. For me, it wasn’t just the lack of third party, but there were a lot of other issues I had with them. I ended up selling my Wii U from being disappointed with Nintendo. Thash: Skate & Destroy on PS1 was really fun also, I always liked that game better than Tony Hawk as well. Heh, I really liked that game when I was younger, poorly received because it was so hard to play with that tiny skateboard you attached to your analog sticks…
Now if you want to know what it is like to play a difficult skateboarding game, go play Yanya Callabista City Skater on PS2. That is all I know the game for, is being the most realistic skateboarding game out there. I think Skate did a much better job of capturing what skateboarding is about. The physics in Skate are way better also, Tony Hawk is so floaty. It added much more of a challenge, and it wasn’t an easy game to play like Tony Hawk was. I thought the use of sticks in Skate was really clever honestly, because it almost mimics what people do on skateboards with their feet and legs. Tony Hawk is just stupid ridiculous, but that is what it’s known for. I’ve always found Skate to be a much better representation of actual skateboarding. That was the point of the game, it was more realistic.
